On 2 December, 2020 in the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, the Moscow State Academic Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Pavel Kogan within the framework of philharmonic subscription No. 24 “The Music Palette” will present a luxurious unforgettable program from the most popular works of Leonard Bernstein (1918-1990) - an American conductor, composer, pianist, music writer, and teacher. The activity of L. Bernstein is striking, first of all, for diversity: a talented composer, worldwide renowned as the author of the musical «West Side Story», the foremost conductor of the 20th century; as well as the works of Astor Piazzolla and Arturo Marquez. The conductor Dmitry Vasiliev, Music Director and Chief Conductor of the Omsk Academic Symphony Orchestra, and Pavel Ratynski (bandoneon) will also take part in the concert.
