Wonderful music performances in the solemnly gorgeous Great Hall of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory will give you the atmosphere of the holiday, New Year’s renewal, cleanness and serenity in the upcoming winter vacation. For four days, incredible fabulous music shows will be held on the main academic stage of the Capital for children and adults. Brilliant music from the world famous ballets by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky - «The Nutcracker», «Swan Lake», and «The Sleeping Beauty», incarnating the concept of beauty and kindness in art, will be featured there. The famous theater and film actor, Honored Artist of Russia Alexander Oleshko will read the fairy tale «The Snow Queen» by Hans Christian Andersen, beloved by many generations; and music from the listed masterpieces, kindred by spirit and images to the beloved, familiar from childhood fairy tale will follow the narration, because as Tchaikovsky said: “Where words are powerless, there more eloquent language – music - is fully armed.”

«The Snow Queen» is not just a Christmas tale; it is a story about love and fidelity, the struggle of the world with evil, without which great happiness would not be gained. Alexander Oleshko together with the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra will tell you a deep and life-affirming New Year's fairy tale that reflects our life. Honored Artist of Russia Denis Kirpanev will be behind the conductor's desk.
