On 01 October at 19:00 in the Great Hall of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, the ceremony of awarding young leaders of contemporary academic music and the Gala Concert will be held. The works of the winners of the competition will be performed by the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Pavel Kogan. Conductor - Alexei Khodorchenkov.


 

7 winners of the competition who have already received a cash prize of 200,000 rubles will be awarded diplomas and prizes.

The program of the Gala Concert will include:


Igor Kholopov. "The Lesson", fantasy.

Andrey Besogonov. Concerto for Bassoon and symphony orchestra.

Artyom Pys. "In the presence of Love and Death".

Anna Pospelova. "Equilibrio".

Anastasia Kostyukova. "On the other side of the mirror".

Murat Kabardokov. "Cameraman", music to the film.

Alexey Chernakov. "Prophetic dream", one-act opera.


 "Partitura" is the largest competition of Russian contemporary music. It includes seven nominations, each comparing scores featuring a symphony orchestra. The competition was created to provide targeted support to young talents and popularize their compositions, stimulate composer's creativity, as well as to update the repertoires of musical groups with actual works of young compatriots.

Partners: Moscow State Symphony Orchestra  under the direction of Pavel Kogan, the Union of Composers of Russia, the Elena Obraztsova Foundation for the Support of Musical Arts, the critical-journalistic magazine "Musical Life" .


The competition is held using a grant from the President of the Russian Federation provided by the Presidential Grants Foundation.
