The Moscow State Academic Symphony Orchestra is very popular with the public and critics of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The tour of the team in Albion takes place once every three years with the same success. As part of these large-scale tours, MGASO performs at least 12 concerts in London, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds, Cardiff, Bristol, Cambridge and other major cities of the country. Thanks to the outstanding professional and creative form of the orchestra, his performances consist of the most technically and musically complex compositions of great domestic composers: Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich, Rachmaninov, Prokofiev, etc. Works of modern English composer Stephen Johnson. Steven Johnson is well known in the UK and is also one of the most popular leaders on the BBC. The musical play “Dances of the Hippopotamus” was written by him based on the novel by M. S. Bulgakov “The Master and Margarita” and is dedicated to this outstanding work of Russian classical literature.
